My very first Sprk’d Session interview kicks off with Kandy Christensen of Meandering Design. Kandy and I met through CRAVE Chicago, a great organization for woman business owners to connect with each other, share ideas, and strengthen each other’s network. Keep an eye out for future interviews!
Check out the interview below to hear her story on how she (somewhat accidentally) discovered her passion and turned it into a growing business.
One of my favorite parts of the interview, aside from Kandy informing me that there may actually still be hope for me to learn how to sew (phew!), comes at the end, “If you have a passion for something, just start.” It is an idea that’s so simple, but so complex at the same time. Get over your fears, other mental hurdles, or anything else in your way and just get started.
Take a look at the interview, let us know what you think in the comments below, and see what events are coming up for this small business owner and her company Meandering Design.
Know someone we should talk to? Or want to be featured yourself?
Sign up for a Sprk’d Session and we’ll schedule a time to meet via Google Hangout or Skype.
